My daughter is 3 years old, and I know she’ll be suffering the consequences of this madness probably throughout her lifetime. I believe, as well, that future generations will be charged with fixing the mess Bush has caused – all for the sake of his own ego. Let’s pray the damage down will be repaired – indeed, it will take a miracle.

Hey KWiz.

I’m always glad to see a fellow blogger speaking out against this insane war, and insanity is the only way to characterize it. It’s OK to be insane in your own mind when your dysfunctional madness affects only you, but when it gets people killed – as is the case with our president – this is when the situation becomes blood red crazy. It will be generations before what this man has done to our country will be repaired – if it can be repaired…

Nevertheless, while we should “seek to set a new direction,” part of the problem, in my humble opinion, is that we haven’t questioned our leaders enough. We haven’t pushed our representatives enough. We’ve been passive. We didn’t hold our leaders accountable when it meant the most. So now, I believe it’s necessary to hold the dialogue so that we don’t end up in this situation again. We can’t be afraid to talk about the issues now because when we’re faced with them in the future, we must not view the past as a distant, irrelevant memory.

So what does it mean to talk about PEACE?

I agree with your post. I hope that ‘W’ will change his mind about this war … that he will do the right thing. But, I doubt it.

That being said, we must talk about PEACE on our blogs. We must seek to set a new direction.
