    My Husband Said It!

    By KWiz | March 11, 2007

As my husband and I were recently editing his soon to be released book, I asked him a question regarding some of the dialogue between the mother and father of the main character in the narrative, where the father “politely interrupts her” during a discussion with their young son. As I thought about the fact that the father “interrupts” the mother, I asked my husband, “Why does the husband have to ‘politely interrupt’ his wife? Why couldn’t he have waited until she finished what she was saying?”

My husband, the insightful man that he is, replied,

    “Because that’s what men do…”

I couldn’t help but to crack up!!!

Any reactions ladies? Men, what do you think?

I’d be lying if I said that I don’t get a pressing urge to interrupt someone when an idea pops in my head all of the sudden.

However, I take pride in, well, apologizing for the interruption right after the interruption.

I guess that kinda makes up for it. Does it?

      Hi Al,

Sounds like you partake in some humble pie? It’s great when you can even take the step to apologize.
