Weekly Weight Loss Update
By KWiz | January 1, 2007
Yes, the holidays are finally over! No, I did not meet my goal. I gained two pounds. What happened?
That egg nog kept winking at me.
That dressing wanted to dance with me.
That macaroni and cheese flirted with me.
Those sweet potatoes woo’ed me.
That darned egg nog just wouldn’t leave me alone!
And so I succumbed to the temptation. As a result, I’ve got some extra baggage. Those are the consequences for not practicing “eating” wisdom during the holidays. But I will move forward. It’s January 1st, and I am determined to lose 15 pounds by March 31, 2007. I’ve got a lot of work to do, but my goal is attainable, and the pros far outweigh any cons. My first step - WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER!
I will not beat myself up. I will not self-deprecate. I will chuck it up and move forward…
Let’s encourage one another as we seek to live more healthy, intentional lives.
